front and rear rotor housing?

im sandblasting my housings and notice that the one housing i just got if a front housing. the one i needed to replace was the rear. is there any difference in the housing? anything needed to run a front housing in place of the rear? i wish i would have rubbed this clear and looked b4 i pick it up.

they are, but if you mix them then it blocks off the air injection passages, and it will NEVER EVER PASS SMOG.
not a big thing i dont have a bit of emissions on the car as it is. and have my ways on getting threw the inspection stations in my state..

Turbo II rear housing has water port above the exhaust port for the turbo coolant feed.
so i cant use a front houseing?
