I have just rebuilt the engine for my 1990 na and am in the process of installing the auxillary parts. I am ready to install the the 3 pulleys on the front of the e-shaft but i don't know how to line up the timing mark, the pulleys could fit 4 ways on the front hub each 90 degrees apart. I didn't see any marks except the leading and trailing timing marks and forgot to make my own before i tore the engine down. anyone know what to do?

On my 87 13B na the bolt holes were slightly offset on the pulley so that they would only line up with the hub in one position - the correct one for the timing marks on the pulley.

The TIIs I have rebuilt all have a dot punched into the hub, and a matching circle punched into each pulley piece. Face the punch marks forward and align them, and you should be set.

As a second method: with the shaft rotated so that the front keyway is at 9 o'clock, rotor1 is at TDC.

On an FC, the front hub and Pullies are A-symmetrical, meaning they will only go on one way.

Oops, my bad. With the keyway at 3 o'clock as viewed from the front of the engine, rotor 1 is at TDC. Sorry for the confusion.
