Hi.

got the 13b-re engine. Putting flywheel on the counter weight.( doing converson )

But, need to know what tourque the flywheel bolts should be ?

Enyone know ?, its NOT one big nut, like on the 13b-rew, but several bolts.

That doesn't make any sense since all rotaries have a large nut, but try 28ft-lbs (that's what Racing Beat recommends).

Yes it does make sense it's a 13BRE cosmo motor and all of them are automatic hence it has a flexplate. So when you convert to a standard transmission and bolt up a flywheel, which should be an aftermarket flywheel, you unbolt the flexplate and bolt up the flywheel. If your using a stock flywheel you need to remove the rear counter weight, which means you remove the single big nut, and should have the matching front counter weight for that flywheel. 28ft-lbs sounds about right and make sure you put loctite on them.

You do mean you should have the right flywheel for your rotors and front counterweight, right?

Aftermarket Flywheels are "zero balance"/ You bolt them to to the 13B-RE counterweight. If you are planning on using a stock mazda flywheel, it needs to be an FD and you must remove the counterweight by undoing the 52mm bolt (2 1/8") Torque is 360ft-lb. The counterweight bolt spec is 27-40 ft-lbs

with new bolts and loctite (medium to high stnength) can't rember what the loctite series number was.

54mm, actually. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png 2 1/8" is the size I use.
