I had a flex drive grinder for years, that was powered by my drill press. Tons of torque, any speed I wanted, and so on. A good deal.

This thing looks way over on the lame side. Lots of RPM, not torque.

Better a used compressor and some cheap Chinese die grinders, or an electric die grinder. Check Harbor Freight for their electric. Less than 50 bucks and real strong.

The chuck size is fine. Most work is done with 1/4" shank bits. You should get a 1/8" collet adaptor, so you can use Dremel size bits for some work.

I have that grinder, and it works rather well. The bearings in the handle could stand to be better; it gets pretty hot after a while. But other than that, its got a ton of torque and and is easy to use. And the foot control is very nice.
