[attachment=42765:Picture_414.jpg][attachment=42765:Picture_414.jpg]Has anyone ever filled a spur off a rotor? Has anyone ever seen something impact a rotor like this? It is odd, because it hasn't affected the apex seal groove. But it did scratch out my housing... bummer.

Bottom line, does it need to be replaced?

Thanks, Thats what I was thinking.

Something must have fallen into the motor. It seemed to impact the rotor and than gouged the housing right before the exhaust port (than it must have exited the exhaust port, because the rest of the housing looks great)... wierd!

Anyone have a rear FD rotor housing they want to part with?

Also, a while ago everyone was whinning about the aftermarket gasket/ seal sets. Has anyone since than experienced the same heating, melted rubber, or hard to install?

not if you buy mazda water seals. If you want hard it install and need to rebuild due to water in the combustion chamber by all means use RA water seals.

What about the aftermarket apex seals? Any difficulties? 1 piece vs 2 piece?
