Hi all, I just bought an 1993 FD with a blown tip.I imported it and the guy told me it hadn't been started in a year and he couldn't remember which rotar it was but it sounded like a "jet engine" .

Does this guy mean that it has poor compression due to wear or that it's shattered a tip ??I haven't started the car yet but shouild I bother trying ?? If the damage is done will I just do more harm trying to start it ??

 

did you do compression test? that would be agood start to see how bad the damage could be
