I'm trying to use NA housing on T2 motor na want to swap out exhaust port from t2 to na housing. what is the correct way of doing this? is there a way of removing pins and reusing them? do I have to buy new pins? I just dont feel like spending 1 hour and ruining perfectly good porting bit.

Drill them out with a masonary drillbit.
Or put a screw inthere and pull it out. |
get a renesis

Weld a blob of weld on the pin so you can grip it with pliers. Then twist and pull out.
Gring the weld off the pin and re-use |
It's just a roll pin, I would get new ones out of a generic kit, unless you couldn't find one small enough.
The idea about tack-welding to it is the weld will stick only to the steel pin and not the aluminum housing. |

Colin, you are alive, there is a post in Gen D about your whereabouts. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/ind...howtopic=64897 The welding seems like the easiest way to accomplish removing them in a less time consumming way. |

I've seen some people be a little careless and drill the hole out of round or a little bigger than it should be and the exhaust sleeve sits loose in the housing. |
