i'm ready to start grinding but i have mixed info on what grinding bit to use on a dremel. I am using a dremel instead of a die grinder because i already have one available. i went out to home depot tonight and they had a 1/8 carbide tip grinder bit but it was straight. i heard that i must use a coneical shaped bit but not sure on where to find them. if anyone has advice or tips it is welcomed...

Try some more hardware stores. You should be able to find something.

Dremels arent something you want to do any fair amount of grinding with. Something that should take you 10 minutes will take an hour.

When porting for your first time this is not necessarily a bad thing, it should help minimize mistakes.

You can buy junk housings and irons from engine builders for damn cheap. Keep buying them till you stop making mistakes, and put about 3-5 layers of duct tape on the surface on the iron incase the grinder gets away from you. Then go to a nice set
