Swapping a 13BT into this GSL-SE. And we're wondering if the coolant nipples that route coolant from the rear iron back to the waterpump can be blocked off like they are in this picture. Or will it lead to cooling problems? Thanks!

you wont hape a prblem, but those block off nipples often break what you want to do is run a hose from one to the other, its a much more reliable setup.

I normally drill them out and tap to NPT plugs. You have to be careful not to crack the rear iron, though.

I'd also run a hose from the one to the other to let the air out more easy..?

The GSL-SE throttle body also uses those coolant nipples. Are you going to run an aftermarket something or other?

They're useless unless you use the stock auto-choke system (its nog a chock, but the 2 upper butterflies are closed when the engine is cold I think and the engine run @ 1500-1700 rpm idle when cold..

Yes, it's a Haltech car. 13BT, small street port, breaking it in with a stock turbo but there's a 60-1 sitting here somewhere waiting patiently.
