Maybe the finish is for show?

I was there when Rohan was talking about the tension bolt. This is the thickest they can get. Any bigger and they will crack the housing cause because of the metal that has to be taken out. Looked strong and thick in person.

I got his card

The tranny is badass. My friend Bo with the 20b FC just got his. I can't wait to see it in the car. I will have this tranny some day.

The guy's name is Rohan Ambrose, and he is GURU.

Some of his stuff is still so new that it hasn't been fully tested. Definitiely, the potential is there but I'd wait for twelve months and get some customer feedback.

You can check out the Guru website at http://www.gurumotorsports.com

ZOOM Magazine here in Australia did an article on his gearbox. Th link to a PDF is on the Products page.

Cheers,

Peter
