that motor was andres.. who was

1: overboosting

2: didnt have enough fuel

3: tuning it himself

remember him posting videos on RX7forum of him doing burnouts and donuts? that was when he was supposed to be breaking in his motor...

he obviously, blew it once..

and didnt have the money to rebuild it, so had T&R throw it back together with his shitty parts..

and never paid for it

and what i hear today, he told them he blew the motor DRIVING IT HOME.

T&R are good guys, they build good motors.. look at anthony's motor that they built.. he had like 2 full seasons of drag racing on it with low 11 second passes and used it as a daily driver...

talkin **** aint cool

so andres TOLD them to reuse all the damaged parts in the rebuild?

i didn't know that.

i think i would have rather told him to go find himself a new mechanic before doing that though...

i figured that there was more to the story than anders was letting on

andres has told me otherwise. break in doesn't matter. if you boost on break in it won't kill an engine. if T&R built this whole car from scratch. they shouldn't have let it leave if it was going to blowup multiple times. regardless if andres did something wrong or not the shop should have done something about it instead of say here is something that is gonna blowup. have fun!

what do you mean not enough fuel. he had a bosch pump, 1600cc secondaries, SUMP, AN braided fuel lines. the works..... andres old car was CLOSE to mine in specs except i had a single turbo. i still say T&R should have built the car so it wouldn't blowup on the ride home, i mean they knew it blewup once so they gave it back to blow up again ???????

ok we can argue this till the end of the world but the fact of the matter is andres had T&R build car.... took a long time, spent alot of money. engine breaks. brings back gets rebuilt again. engine breaks again. those are the FACTS. i know what andres told me happened and i know what the shop says but they are two totally different things. i don't know who is lying and i don't care this should never have happened in the first place. don't you agree ?

it sounds like they should have told him it was gonna blow up unless he spent more $$$ or something

i know of atleast one person that broke with hurley seals and that didn't damage the rotor housings. either they didn't use hurley seals or those aren't his original housings in the engine i have now

to clear things up.. andres never finished paying the shop. he didnt have enough money to finish the car or some ****... and i just blew a motor with hurleys when my MAP sensor failed. it fucked the housings nice enough that i needed to get new ones. and andres motor did indeed have hurleys, saw them w/ my own eyes.

as for the fuel setup, I cant say for sure what was on the car, but i was told he didnt have enough fuel. and i was around countless times when he was told NOT to get on his car until it was tuned and finished. he had the car to drive around and break in, but apparently didnt listen.
