Looking for info about Cermet housings. I've read alot about them but I havent seen anyone post about using them. Havent seen any compression numbers or HP # with these housings. I was thinking about going with NRS ceramic 2mm 2pc seals but I maybe go with black seals instead. Trying to find some good quality info about these housings and if theyre really beneficial for the $900 per housing...

We've used the B housings with good results when combined with OE Mazda 2 pc seals. Good compression and power on a 1/2 bridge turbo.

We're now selling the NRS seals. They have told us they are no longer offering the black seals.

I will buy new mazda housings before I deal w/ JHB again. After delays and poor customer service I just don't really see the benefit. I could have purchased new housing after all was said and done. Product seems pretty good but the housings are old and then resurfaced. I saw pitting in the mating surfaces of the housings. Not really something I want after dropping $1100 total. Hope that helps.

Once RX7club is back up, I'll post the pics of JHB quality; or lack there of.

we met the guy at sevenstock, he was nice.... he gave us candy.

um so, the coatings are actually pretty neat. if you've got some NLA housings, like 73 12a, or what have you, JHB is great.

not so great; um housings deform, they warp, they electrolisis, they shrink... jHB adresses none of that.

I have pics of another engine with the same issue, but I can't post pics as the owner is dealing with JHB currently.
