What parts would be needed to build the best overall engine.I heard about using series 5 rotors. What else is there.I'm debating weather to start a RE turbo swap next winter or to build a killer NA and do a full EFI swap with a NOS kit.Any suggestions on the best OEM parts to mix is helpfull.

well you wanna do a 13b, cause its got more cubes, and its not much more to build. the s5 na rotors have the highest compression and lightest wieght, unless you wanna spring for the 787b rotors $$$$$. the 84-85 e shaft is the best, unless you use one of the lightened comp ones. you want at least the fd stationary gears, if not the hardened fd ones (they have better main and better thrust bearings). if you got the coin the ianetti ceramic apex seals are the ticket (you need something that can rev to 10,500). you need a big oil pump and the race or fd oil pressure regulator. if you're doing a killer na it might be better to use the fd front cover and like a tec3 crank trigger wheel.

for the rotor housings i would say fd ones, or the gsl-se ones, with the side housings its not that important, use some 4 port housings, maybe bridge ported with a 48 ida weber style intake and an efi throttle body.

So your saying then if I go this route then go with Series 5 rotors,84-85 SE housings,SE eccentrice shaft with a high flow oil pump?Sounds like fun with a huge street port and a 100hp shot of NOS.And a shitload of fuel to back it up.I wonder what times approximately one could expect from a setup like that.

285 to 310rwhp with a nice 100n20 shot on a street ported engine. Times depends on the vehicle weight. this set up on a nice first gen. should produce some 11 second E.T.'s
