Node- Care to explain why you would not want the S5's higher compression rotors if you were going to build a ported all motor 13b 6port?

Node clearly says to use them.I don't see anything on not using them in his posts.

You must've misread me

"There is no reason not to use the 89 N/A rotors."

for real what lower intake would you use, or would you go with some after market efi, and ecu? I can't really afford to do that, besides I still want drivablity if that make sense. So any insight on a intake, or if anyone has one would be awsome

Thanks,

Shay

are you going to be carbed or efi? although i think RB sells lots of carb stuff

if you're going to use a BT block, use a BT lower, if you're going to use a 6 port black, use a 6 port lower.

I think I'm a little confused

I definetly want to go EFI! But I heard to better port the engine to start with turbo plates, because there is much more there to port, but a turbo LIM is too tall for the 86-88 EFI

if you get a jspec, you're going to get everything from the turbo (which goes to intercooler, then throttlebody, then uim, then lim, then engine, out to turbo) to turbo.

else, uhm, dunno. anyways, if you're going to use the available meat that the turbo plates have, why the **** are you keeping stock efi? just use a turbo fuelrail, probably use n/a injectors for primaries, but i have no idea on what tyupe of porting you're going with.

I thought RB sells the adapter for 4-port to 6-port.I saw that adapter used on the parts trader.

they might, never really looked. they have a bunch of nice stuff involving intake manifolds, like carby adaptors for 6 port (i think)
