i still dont know the difference with the 6-port "not" being able to be extend-ported and need clarity on the because i'm a total retard :-)
would i have to get turbo housings?..or should i just drop a ******* core off at a good shop and say "200hp please" |
Danno, bridge porting is opening and reshaping the stock port and leaving a small "bridge" for the corner seal to ride across as it crosses over during the rotors cycle. That way you are able to really open the ports up large.
A street port involves opening up and reshaping the stock port. But is mild in comparison to a bridge port. If i could get my album figured out I could show you the difference. One gets an engine ported to increase intake flow hence increasing horsepower. Generaly 30% more on a street port I belive. Ito will smack me around if im wrong on that. I am not sure what kind of gains you would expect from a bridge port. Bridge ports are a big difference compared to street ports. So I assume alot more than 30% https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/boink.gif |
Bridgeports also tend to let you gain appx 30% more horsepower...and lessen the life of your motor by 30% https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/wacko.png

they really lessen the life of the engine that much ?
