yet they show a 3rd gen drag car in one of their sections..

There is a company that sells larger/stronger tension bolts over here in Japan. Normally there is a mm or so gap, these bolt make up for that gap. But at 4000 yen a piece not cheap.

Why not use the stock 20B bolts , they are 12mm and the 13B is 10mm .You will have to drill out and retap the holes but any compitent machine shop can handle that . The bolts are available from Racing Beat.

The stock ones are plenty strong. The problem if any comes with vibrations at high rpm's. We spoke on this topic in the "rebuilding Tech Tips" section. Check it out. I included a modification that I've been doing for awhile to compensate.

I read the "TIPS" why wouldn't silicone help? Might make it a bitch to take it back apart though.

exactly.

\and a lot of the silicone gets skinned off when installing the bolts, defeating the purpose.
