Hi,



I'm in a slow process of building my 20B..



Are the stock 2mm grooves hardned? My rotors will be machined 3mm, but do I need to let hard the grooves again, the engine will produce around 600rwhp with a big single...

People have said that they're hardened, but I've seen slop which tells me they are the same hardness as the rest of the rotor. My 20B's apex seals are kinda sloppy. I'd like to have them machined for 3mm but I'm curious if the slots really are hardened or not.

Do you also know wich way they're hardned? Nitrated or by heat or..?
