i dont know wut type of porting i wunt dun. the street port , bridge port, or j-port.

i wunt to knuw the difference between each and wut gives the best performance for a daily driver.





oh yeah, by the way, i drive an 87 T2.

Half bridge secundaries unly. It's best fur a daily driver. BDC and a few uthers here have had great success.

dont bother doing more than a street port if you have the stock turbo and or ecu

along with the porting i was planning on uopgrading the turbo, i.c, and ecu. oh yea seals also.

It would probably be best for you to see if some fellow nopistons members, who happen to build half bridgies, would be able to fit you into their schedules. That's what I'd do if I were to attempt all that stuff you mentioned.

I agree. Plan this out thoroughly before going and dumping money. My suggestion would be to create an overall goal for the car -> drivability, power, etc-wise and then fashion exactly what you need done to hit that goal.

The biggest question is actually whether the cops in your area are dicks or not. What are the laws concerning exhaust noise, because it is going to be loud with a bridge. If noise isn't a problem, my vote is for the half bridge. I had a half bridge in my car, and the only reason it came out was that I couldn't drive the car on the street without worrying about cops.
