why are you not just combining the 2 ports?

Combining the port is an extra 4 hours worth of grinding per plate, but also probably too much velocity is lost to make any usable low end power. I like the look of that, hopefully it works out well for you.

Grinding?



Use sanding rolls. They will cut through iron like butter.

Yea a 120 grit tapered roll works the best https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png but honstly i have built a engine with this style port and drove it daily. The bottom end suffers a little but it more than makes up for it with a top end that does not stop.Open it early and combine the two and it will be a monster . I also had the same thoughts on velocity but after driving a friends car i thought i would try it, im glad i did.

you didnt ever happen to dyno that car did you? and was it turbo or NA?
