I wanted to assemble it last weekend, but since that was a bit optimistic, hopefully it will be this weekend.. That is the shortblock only though, I still need a new oil pump chain before I can fully assemble it, and need to figure out the length of cable needed to control the OMP by the fd throttle body, but other than that I have received all my parts (including the flywheel I was worried about).

Hmm, I think I used the 24" universal Lokar throttle cable for both OMP and throttle on mine- I will verify this tonight for you.

I think I have some pics of my primary ports as well.

I stacked my engine last weekend and am getting the engine hoist tonight!

Thanks! Those are readily available on ebay, so that would be another thing I can remove from my todo-list.

are you going to use 9.7 compression rotors? you never mentioned it?

Not 9.7 but 9.4 as that is what I have on hand. I know it will limit my performance a bit, but hopefully not too much. Higher compression rotors is definately scheduled for a later upgrade though
