4-rotor anyone

Whats the fit like with the rear counterweight being splined instead of tapered? That would be the only concern I have with that shaft.. I am considering buying one right now as well, but havent made my mind up on which supplier to use. Its difficult to get a lot of feedback on the Japanese shafts since they don't seek the global market. Do you anticipate that any extra machining is needed before using the shaft kit, or does it look completely finished?

hey Jeff, what makes you so special that your parts were shipped in a wooden crate....
I have not made an ounce of progress on my build, besides wiping the parts down every once in a while. I need to get a new intermediate housing and mod it to accept the stat gear so that all my irons are the same, I just have not had the time or $$$ due to school (graduated a month ago )...Once I find a job, its on!

The parts were sent in a wood crate, and received in same. Jeff was cool enough to drill out one of the cross beams to hold the tension bolts. No carboard boxes for us. Only a carboard tube, with the shaft in it.
Well, put that schooling to work for you and get bizzay on your 4 rotor! Over here we're gearing up to do a couple of peripheral ports. I relinquished three practice 13B housings and provided four practice 12A housings so we can get it right before cutting into good ones.
