Hey,
Just wondering why Mazdacomp suggests substituting 86-88 bolts with the 74-85 ones. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif Would they be comparable to 89-95 bolts if I silicone/shrink tube them to dampen vibration? Thanks! FYI. Attached is a pic of a 74-85 bolt. [attachment=37355:attachment] |

Well, Mazda still uses the 89-95(by part#) short tension bolts in the renesis. I would gues they are the best since they still use them now. But why do they then recommend the 74-85 bolts to replace the 86-88 lathed bolts instead of the 89-95 ones? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/blink.png
