Hi this will be my first time Building a 13B Turbo motor and I was wondering what I can do that will make the motor run a good 500 horsepower rating at the fly wheel With a single turbo? What do I have to do to the block? Like prep work, seals. I was also wondering what a good set up would be to run for like injectors, turbochargers, tubo manifolds, intercoolers, I just plane what to know what I have to do to get 500 horsepower out of a 13B single turbo motor. I have Build V-8 motor from mild to wild and some 4 cylinders and would like to try Building a Rotary motor so that I have the nawlage to work on and Build a 13B turbo motor. Thanks in advance Billy.

thats what I was thinking about doing but I want building this car as a weekend racer and would like to spend the money on horsepower not waist it on just building it to see if it will run. I mean I am trying to get in the IHRA and cruz and do a couple of races. I mean I own a 2000 pound car and want to get 500 horsepower at the motor and I can maybe get the car in the low 11's high 10's maybe I am hoping. I mean I have a couple of sponsores at the moment but want to join the surcet next year so that I will be able to maybe get more. I mean my sponsores or my dads work and me for now and maybe this local speed shop in town where I would get most of my parts from.

a reasonable streetport

balance the engine

high performance oil pressure regulator

modified rotor bearings

that should get you started, i'm sure i'm missing a few other things, but i'll post when i can concentrate better ...

if you were really determined to do this i think your best bet would be to have it built professionally. as demand for power increases the window for mistakes significantly shrinks. in the long run i believe it would save you money and maybe pick up a mentor to start your education in rotary engines...hehe

I was thinking about running a stock motor with about 10 -15 psi and see what goes form their maybe do a little street port on the intake and exhaust. and then run better apex seals. but for the most part I was going to run a bigger turbo at like 10-15 psi and then run a street port on the intake and exhaust . but any other suggestions is greatly appreciated

I was wondering how much horsepower am I looking to get with a with a street port and a turbo setup on my 13B? I was told somwhere in the range of 500hp with about 11-15psi on the turbo. Just currious on what to exspect out of my motor. I was also wondering what I would have to do apex seals size and some other options to make the motor stronger so when I am running high boost the motor won't crash on me? Thanks in advance 13BN5TEN.
