Anyone got any clue as to costs on buying an s5 turbo II long block?? Ive been looking for a full Tii for a long time now and cant find any so im thinking maybe the engine swap would just be cheaper

 

I got mine for $250, with uim, lim, turbo manifold, turbo, waterpump.. But I had to rebuild it.. You could get a Jspec engine for like Around $800 but the word around here is that it is better to rebuild them anyways cause they are of questionable quality..

 

i would rather just buy a recently rebuilt engine or i guess i could go for the jdm engine from a blown up fc

 

Keep your eyes open for a t2 with a blown engine.. then you can just rebuild the sucka.. mAsk friends of yours and family to keep and eye out for one.. That seems to work best...

 

yeah it depends, a lot on how complete it is and if its a core or used vs rebuilt

i just found a full engine on ebay, buts its one of the sketchy *** jspec motors, its got "approx 40,000" km on it and if i can find a tII with a blown engine or no engine i will be more than happy cause its got everything i need to just drop the new motor in

 

is it this one? e bya linc i wouldnt buy that
