Default 12a PP MFR parts - buid

Hey guys, a buddy and i came over some cool 12a parts last weekend.

: A pair of 12a pp MFR housings ( by port timing an size the appear to be of the "rally port design version"

: Matching MFR intake manifold for an upright Weber IDA carburettor

: Weber 48 IDA modifiyed to a 51mm version.

: MFR oil pan (two sump type witch holds one litre more than stock, matching baffleplate.

Now to the condition of the parts, the parts with most wear is naturually the rotorhousings, the tcp chrome surface is overall in good condition ( motor was luckily run on carbon apexes ). But there is rather wide horisontal cracks in both Leading and Trailing plugarea, at the most 30mm total crack, appears to have been run on warm streetcar plugs, type 6-7 in NGK grade. And therefor the plug boss has expanded as a result of the high plug-temperature, and made the craks and the housing area at plug location to "lift / raise"

Take a look at the pictures. ( sorry for bad quality )

Now to the future plans, these are ofcourse cool RE items, but only having them stand on the shelf is not so much fun, the idea is to check if the craks are open all the way into the coolingchannels, or if lucky they are not, and we want to meassure up the specs of the housings and if ok, build an motor using the housings and intake-weber etc, motor for weekend use not for dedicated race/motorsport.

Any one with personal experiance using housings with this substansually cracks at the leading and trailing plug? The idea to eliminate further damage is to soften the grades of the cracks, and run really cold plugs 10.5-11 ngk's using cdi ignition to make it easy to live with (starting and fouling band aid )

Thanks for any input
