I DRIVE A 83 GSL WITH A FULL BRIDGED 6 PORT, HOLLEY INTAKE, STRAIGHT EXHAUST TO A RACING BEAT MUFFLER, POSI REAR, ACT STAGE 4 SPRINGLESS CLUTCH, AND I'M GESTIMATEING AROUND 275-300 RWHP. BUT NEXT WEEK WHEN I GET PAID I'M BUYING 3RD GEN HOUSINGS FROM A FRIEND THAT ARE ALREADY BRIDGED. SO YOU CAN BUILD A SIX PORT AND MAKE IT FAST. IT'S JUST THAT YOU CAN BUILD A 4 PORT AND MAKE IT ALOT F-ING FASTER. SOMEONE TOLD ME THAT ATKINS ROTARY HAS A 10 SEC ALL MOTOR 6 PORT. IF ANYONE ELSE HAS HEARD THAT LET ME KNOW IF IT'S TRUE.

ANOTHER THING IS 4 PORTS HAVE ALOT MORE AREA TO PORT THAN A SIX PORT SO THE MORE AIR AND GAS YOU CAN FIT IN THE MOTOR THE FASTER IT WILL BE. "VOLUMETRIC EFFICIENCY".

I have been porting some 6 port engines lately. I've been trying to make some ports that would make some decent power. So far one seriously bridgeported 6 port engine that I made is making some very impressive power. The only down side is the rough idle. Some people love the brap, brap, brap, some people don't. I recently put together a wild street ported 6 port engine, but no dyno numbers yet. I'm currently building another wild ported 6 port 1990 engine and Ill try to post results on that engine. I have noticed that part of making power on a six port engine is tunning, in comparison to a 4 port engine. if people are tunning both these engines the same way, then they will not get good results out the 6 port engine.

update, I read on the other forum, that the series 5 Rx7 engine I ported aggresively(6 port) made 196rwhp using an apex fuel controller. Im sure most of the power was made in top end. I also read engine has been running since I put it together back in 2003!!!! hasn't been apart for 5 years!!! 2008 and still strong... hooray for reliability...
