There are probably more FD's. The FD is commonly owned by Posers and Pretty boys........as I like to call them. The FD is a nice car and world renowned in its handling and horsepower so there are lots of guys who own one and it looks exactly the way Mazda made it or they put and exhaust and wheels on it. There are lots of cars like that nowdays running around they are not out drifting or racing them. When it comes to the track FC's are usually more prevelant. Probably like everyone says they are cheaper but at the final round of D1 in Tskuba the FC's outnumbered the FD's.... The FC's there have serious money in them most have V mount intercoolers and one even borrowed the water pump and some pulleys from the FD to clean up the nasty belt situation but the block was all FC.

I dunno for real its hard to say which one there is more of Seems to be a large following on the FC but more and more FD's are coming out.

twin turbos advantage for drifting? i'd say the answer is two parts, in general NO and sequential twin turbos, definately not.

The only time people keep a stock twin turbo setup is:

a) They don't have enough money to go single.

OR

b) Their car is a V6 or V8.

basically twin turbo is an idea of a time when turbos did not spool worth a **** and it gave some response to the turbo cars of that time. It also sounds cool to posers to say the words TWIN TURBO........

Nowdays you can put a good singel turbine on and it will spool faster and make more power than the stock twins. It also makes the engine bay look nicer. anyway when it comes to drifting Power is not you major concern anyway......................

fd's are notorious for understeer as well with stock suspension...as are most cars...fc is the best choices since there availablity and there like 10ish years old so you can find parts easy.

The Fc no questions asked, when i can go to the junkyard and have 10 full parts cars sitting there for my use pretty much parts arent that hard to find. Also if your running the GTU diff and aftermarket suspension with rear toe eliminators they like to slide around
