If you like all that then you're in luck because we're putting it all together for our first annual Drift & Drag. Memphis Motorsports Park has been very receptive and shows alot of interest in the excitement that drifting can bring to their track so we are able to give you guys a full day of practice on track for only $50. In addition to that the drag strip will be open for test and tune for $20 for the whole day.
Event Info
When: Saturday 9/22/07 *** in case of rain event will be held on sunday gates open at 8am track closes at 6pm
Where: Memphis Motorsports Park www.memphismotorsportspark.com
What: All day drift practice, drag racing test-n-tune, car and bike show, and bikini contest ($300 prize). There will also be a live DJ all day.
Prices:
Drifting Test N Tune - $50 (car & participant) ***40 driver cap***
Drag Strip Test N Tune - $20 (car & participant)
Show & Shine Car and Bike Show - $20 (car & participant)
Bikini Contest - No entry fee. Spectator admission only.
Spectator Admission - $10 Adults
$5 Ages 6-12
Free Ages 5 & Under

-All cars must pass a basic tech inspection
-Tandem drifting will be available to those with proper safety equipment (minimum of roll bar with door bars) and enough driving experience. Please e-mail me with any questions about this feluster2@yahoo.com

9:15AM – Drivers Meeting/Walk Thru
9:30AM – Practice Runs Begin

*** TANDEM DRIFTING ALLOWED IF YOU HAVE A ROLL CAGE AND EXPERIENCE***
Notes:
There will be a 40 DRIVER MAX , to make sure that everyone gets PLENTY of seat time. There will be no refunds if you are unable to attend, however we will try our best to help you sell your spot.
ALL DRIVERS NEED TO ARRIVE BEFORE 8:30AM. If you are paid and do not arrive by 9:00AM, your registration will not be accepted, and your spot will be resold. This will be 100% enforced.
In event of rain, event will be on Sunday, August 23.
Review the SCCA Drifting Rules prior to registering.
A valid state issued driver's license will be required when checking in at the event registration booth.
