A PROPERLY maintained stock brake system with good quality pads is sufficient. Before the event Bleed/Flush the system. Your best bang for the buck is quality rubber as allowed in your class. Victo-Racers are great, hoosiers are better (But at a price). IF (A BIG IF) your budget allows, a dedicated set of rims and tires will go a long way to helping you run consistant times double |
Been using www.raceconcepts.net brakes for over 2 years now, no issues, not too spendy like 480 for any combo rotors, HAWK HPS pads, high temp fluid, SS brake lines. Not a bad deal and the guy warantees his work; I used the same company for brakes on my tank of a SVX and they held up on the track with that fat beast.
