I've been doin' some theorizing without actual testing, and here's what 've been coming up with as far as drifting is concerned:

Well, if you drift properly and reorient your car in relation to the exit, you should be able to get an earlier point of acceleration, which gives you a higher speed going into the next straight. Of course, this depends greatly on the line you're taking. An earlier point of acceleration doesn't do you much good if you could have taken a more advantageous line and maintained a higher speed overall. Of course, there are certain advantages of using an alternate line, as well. If you're trying to set up a pass, taking a different line through a corner could be very advantageous. I think the whole idea is to drift when it's most advantageous for a given situation. More specifically, at some point your big challenge is going to be finding out when to drift and when to keep your grip.

That should work out, I think.

Darn, My no expert, but as long as your not hitting buildings and other cars your doing great Knowing my luck, I'd drift off in the sea on my island Good luck though. it's fun and takes alot of practice, most important part though is throttle control, if you don't have that, you have nothing.

Peace
