Hate to bust your bubble but that civic was clearly much faster then your FC. The car never used the juice it was for neg reasons, the only reason you won was because a intercooler pipe came loose and was leaking all of the boast. STUPID *** pinks had a new rule that wouldnt let you open your hood so they couldnt fix it and had to race like that. LUCKY for you. I wouldnt be bragging about it either it was a junk single cam motor that they literally pieced together in a few days from spare parts.
Not takening honda's side Im all for the rotories but you gotta give credit when its due. hench the four car lead he had on you, what do you think happend the turbo honda had no top end and you just caught up and won by 6 cars.. dont think so. But im sure this isnt news to you.
Anyway congrats on winning the car. Im sure they were very pissed..

Not exactly...They never once hinted that there was a problem, or asked for time to inspect it. And what good would the juice be on there? I would have given them more lengths probably had it not been there, because it would have seemed like a slower car. If they were going to "just use it to purge" they should have had a purge solenoid agreed? And there is no "rule" about opening your hood. You just have to ask at the megotiations. not my fault they were young, and not experienced with that type of racing. Their motor was far from junk. That engine is worth near $10K, even though they didn't pay that for it. You wanna talk spare parts? Mine had a sticker on the hood that said Spare Parts! It was customer old apex seals, springs etc when they got new parts. And it was half rebuild a week before the show due to leaning it out on the dyno. Not to mention their 30psi of boost against our 10psi, then 12psi at the last run. I know for a fact that his coupler came off the last run, but they should have had something other than worm gear clamps with their high boost levels. Hell, I have t-bolts and I'm only running 10-12psi...
Just more excuses, followed by facts...
