I had a blast, Fastest Second Gen there (ONLY SECON-GEN THERE!)

My times were off due to :

a. My crappy driving

b. My shitty-*** TIRES

But I had a blast, even though I got up at 6:30 AM to install the AGX's before I drove to Columbia to get registered by 10:15

Can you actualy tell me what Auto-X is. I think I know what it is but we call it Auto Hill climb, a track that goes up hills/down hills.

What is Autocross?

Autocross is the generic term for SCCA Solo II. Solo II is a competition event in which cars run a course made up of cones against the clock, and times are compared to determine the winner in each class. Solo II is considered a low speed event, and speeds do not generally break 70 mph for the fastest cars. Solo II is the entry level motor sport of the SCCA.

This is the best answer to the question "what is autocross?" that I've seen. The car has pistons, though.

I don't think so. Looks to me like Shane Lovely had the FTD in his FSP Civic (discounting the one PROGS). By the way, he won the Mazda Revitup in Atlanta and will be going to Monterey at the end of the month. Once again the Buccaneer Region kicks some butt. Oh, and it looks like the ES Miata of Kurt Brietinger was a close second in PAX...also a Buccaneer guy and an owner of a new RX-8!!
