Scca Sponsered Drifting

Where do I sign up. I really want to drift professionally. Right now is the time I think to really get involved with it. This is the beginning of something that will continue in America. I have been drifting seriously for about 3 years now in Japan and anything considered Professional is impossible to get into. Even the D1 Drivers don't make enough money to live on and 90% of them still pay from their pockets to maintain the car. The level in the States is very low in comparison to Japan and I feel that I can compete succesfully there. If they are really gonna do this I will be building a car to compete with in the states.
I only hope they don't overload it with rules and safety requirements for the car. I would like to see those requirements ASAP.

Yeah, now's the time to get into it in the U.S. The level of driving is nowhere near that of Japan from what I've seen. There aren't a lot of guys that can compete at D1 level. Drifting is starting to get big and there's a lot of companies looking to sponser. I just hope that SCCA won't ruin the fun, laid back atmosphere that the drifting events now have. Drifting events need organization, not babysitting.
