[size=5][font=Comic Sans Ms]RE Amemiya are the 2006 SuperGT GT300 Champions!!!!!

A double whammy for the Drivers and Team championships!!!

here is what Amemiya San had to say.

Isami Amemiya Team Manager

"I'm filled with emotion, that's all. In the ten years I've been involved in GT racing, I've never thought about winning the title. I'm so thankful to everyone, the drivers and the mechanics. When I saw Yamano spin out, I thought it was over. At the end, nobody had any idea what was going on.... Later on the podium with so many spectators around who were happy for us, it made me truly thankful. "

Fantastic news!

I think these guys have been campaigning in this since the early 90's. The RX7 has gone thru quite an evolution in that time, but its always seemed that each year they were up against bigger & bigger budget competition.

Well done RE Amemiya & a great day for Mazda.
