I just signed up for the Dec. 13, 2003 (Saturday) event.
This is a really cool deal you can run your street car on a race track. There is no passing in the turns and you can only pass on the straights when the car in front points for you to go around.
Very little chance of a collision- unless you mess up and hit a wall.
I hope som eother Fla. RX-7 owners can go. It is a lot of fun.

For less than the cost of a speeding ticket you can drive your high-performance vehicle the way it was meant to be driven, on real racetracks.
My speeding tickets usually run me about 180bux, and I can't afford that
Maybe I'll show up just to watch though (if they let spectators)

Yes and no for Palm Bay. I cannot not go Sunday but will be there Saturday - for practice. You usually get more runs in on practice days anyway.
On the Moroso thing yes spectators are welcome. I might stick a camcorder in your hands though to film a few of my laps for me.
There are parade laps where we can take passangers out to see the track we usually ony go about 50-70 MPH during them.
I am sure if you wanted a ride at speed we could get an instructor to take you out for a few laps too.
Its really fun and laid back. I will probably be signed off to solo that weekend. No more instructor in the car. YAY.

I have to post up the Novice driver enrollment. I am so looking foward to running down one particular car. You can guess which one. Its not racing but if you get up on someones butt they have to move over on the next straightaway and wave you by. Last time I had a M-5 try to shake me then give up and let me by. I am goint to look for the roster.
