I get lost in the SCCA rules, and I've had several people tell me different things, from STS to SM, I'm not sure.

main mods:

adjustable dampers/upgraded springs

full exhaust

custom intake

LSD

strut brace (does that make a difference?)

look at my garage link for other stuff

At my last event they didn't have a enough for a novice class, so one guy told me I should be in STS. Then some other guy comes up (while I'm waiting in line to race) and asks if I have an LSD, and that I should be in street mod. I really don't care, I just don't want anybody bitching at me again.

i thnk unless you have engine mods (porting) you could be in STS

cause thats what one of my buds told me about my fc

i can see why he would think the lsd would put you in street mod tho, but i would think you could be in sts

street mod is a bitch of a class to be in anyway with all of the time add ons to equalize the playing field

You're an STS until you have 3 mods FWIK.

I just ran my FD with less mods than you have yesterday at an Autocross and I was SMN (Street Modified - Novice). It doesn't need to be "engine" mods, after all, Racing rubber, suspension, and such will go a longer way than 20 more HP when it comes to tight turning...

It was my first time yesterday, and I did great, had tons of fun in my FD

CSP would probably be a better fit.

BTW the RX7 would go to STS2, not STS.

Good luck!
