just to note, deftforce is NOT for the timid. Strictly for those on team serious, its makes alot of noise and shakes the car when you're puting around town. For sliding its the best tho, i have the 1.5.

sayin the deftforce is the BEST if a pretty strong statement... i understand it's a personal opinion, but where's the facts? any 2 way will work just fine for u one320b check with these guys.... http://rrr-game.com/ they've had a couple 2way lsds for FC's... and they go for around 500, much better than 1000.... you can also check with Jimmy @ http://pandagarage.com/ they sometimes take special orders and can get u a good used lsd for a fair price... just some other options...

that's unfortunate.... we've gotten 3 diffs from RRR and had good luck with all 3.... RRR gets their parts from UpGarage, they're not a place that sells junk...

the facts are that the clutches are larger than any other diff of the market, i believe its the best differential but everyone is entitled to an opinion. I wouldn't have bought it if i didn't think it was the best and as such i recommend it to anyone who is interested in purchasing a diff. as you said, any 2 way will work, but that is my recommendation.

Thanks for the info guys. I'm waiting on my driveshaft to get done and I'll be moving onto the differential. I'm not new on the race scene, but i have not drifted in a competitive situation..only AutoX. I sold my autoX protege and I really wanted to get more into drifting now that we actually have drift events around here. Thanks for the input, I'll be sure to post what I end up going w/ ...$500 sounds a lot nicer than $1200, but i've learned in the past you get what you pay for and w/ the power output from my motor..i don't know if a $500 dif will hold.

The noise won't bother me...it's a track car, they are supposed to be noisy right? lol.

I'm using a mazdaspeed 2way with great success... locks and spins em whenever i need it.... i was using a stock tII diff for about a month, then came across my MS 2way, it was a definate UPGRADE!! if you're wanting to drift, you NEED to get an aftermarket diff. the cusco 1.5way can be configured to be a 2 way... for more info contact: http://www.napsusa.com

i can't remember the contact's name there, but they're very informative and have decent pricing... also you could go with an os giken 1.5way or 2way... the local distributor for that (west coast) is non fugita... his shop number is: 310-320-8891 hope this helps a bit...

I am curious, where did you purchase your Mazdaspeed LSD?
