I Hate Mailboxes

did you lock your wheels up? im assuming you did as you could not have possibly going that fast in a residential zone around a corner. in that case, all 4piston brakes would have done is to have give you more grip to lock your wheels up. i know that in my fc which is not a 4 piston (i think its a single floating piston), it will lock up the wheels if im going under 50mph and stomp on the brakes.

What i dont understand is how you can sit and say its the brakes fualt you hit that mailbox. In reality its your fualt you should have never been going that fast to begin with new mods or not. I dont get why people have to blame their mistakes on something else. YOU fucked up its as simple as that.

Im not fighting and dont plan on it. I was just saying how in every post it seems hes blaming the brakes or something else instead of driver error. Even called people **** for a little bit of dirt in the road but in reality hes the only one to blame for the outcome of that day. Sorry if i sound like an ******* but i dont like people who dont take responabilty for their actions or dont even seem to realize what they did wrong to begin with. As long as he learned the correct lesson from this i have no problem with him.

you notice that to eh? no one wants to read entire threads and then just voice their oppinion. its kinda like ignoring class then when a test comes you fail it cuz you didn't pay attention to the lecture.

Well I read the whole thread and what was said was "this is why I am upgrading to 4piston brakes" and "*** gardners left dirt on the road". That is not verbatim but that is the basics of what was said. As far as not listening in class it sounds like someone did not even show up at school. The mailbox was hit because the driver does not have the skills and knowledge to prevent that from happening.
You could have the largest brakes known to man on your car and put the car in a situation like that and it would still not change the outcome. knowing road position and how the car reacts and so on will benefit you more than any part in the world. I am not trying to extend the bickering about the whole deal just letting you in on some real world experience. I have hit lots of stuff in my time Totaled 3 FC's and bent the frame on a supra and some other **** too. Some of that has to do with the car but mostly has to do with me trying to do something I did not know how to and putting that car in a situation that it was impossible to drive out of. That is the bottom line. You can blame it on the brakes to make yourself feel better but take the lesson learned and build on it.

i wouldnt have gotten in this situation if i actually had working brakes (when the car is parked and the e brake is all the way up you can actually push the car and it'll move). thats how crappy the brakes are.
and if i was a real shitty driver i would have run into a house and or totaled my ******* car. after that turn was actually an S turn and i navigated through it decreasing my speed.
and i have learned a ****** lesson, ********. dont touch a car with no brakes.
i blame my self more than anything for this rather than the car. it wasnt the cars fault that made me do this. it was my own stupidity that got me driving a car with no brakes, duh.
