Not really.



Maybe for beginners who cant afford to replace tires and use cheap junkyard ones?

well good tires are needed but less traction in rear then front is a must.



good tires with lower tire pressure up front and more in the rear to induce drifts

better

You need good tires in the back for consistency, cheapos dont really offer much of that.
