on my FD, we were able to get -2 camber but not the 6 caster that is recommended.

how will this affect open track handling? real road handling?

we put 1.3 neg camber in the rear. think thats enough?

i want car set up for road course events as primary function (lime rock and pocono courses are my local tracks).

front sway bar wasn't in at the time, but i don't think that effects alignment.

Caster angle is important to generate the restoring force to recentre teh wheel. It also improves camber gain as the the wheel is turned. Too much isn't always a good thing. Same with too little.

I think ground control still has a good article on their website. Anyhoot without going into the acutal phsyics and get you confused try finding that article.

Yeah, like cheers says - if you're happy with the amount of force there is pulling the wheel back to straight, then there are no other detrimental aspects.

-2 in front might be annoiying to drive around on the street. camber settigs front to rear shouldnt be so diffrent unless u are tryign to get the car to oversteer more but then in that case you should be lookign at diffrent spring rates or sway bars.

thanks kahren, car won't be driven on street too often, so no worries there. mostly road courses and AX. already got bigger front sway bar. springs & shox over the winter are planned

drove car last night for first time with new tires (yok AO32R - R compound) and new alignment and it was darty on the roads that were pretty bad, but fine on the smooth roads. i can definately live with it. the turn-in was awesome.
