Today was practice day. We got 10 runs in with about 60 cars in attendance.

I took out my Mini to get some practice with a FWD car and some Falken Azena's.

I am trying to get into a Mazda-Rev-It-Up mode.

I am taking my TII out tomarrow and blazing with the slicks. I basically try for FTD since there is never anyone in my class. After todays practice I saw 3 cars that will be a handful to beat. One is a Z-06 in SS driven by a multi-time national champ.

The other 2 cars are very interesting one is a 260Z with a 5.0 swap. The other is an F-body Camaro which is basically a Track car with 12" wide slicks and gobs of horsepower.

Some pics from today - I'll take more tomarrow.

This is the Camaro

This is the 260Z

260Z engine bay - notice the entire front end is tube frame. Car was resuraected from a head on collision - also notice the aluminum front mounting plate.

I thought this was a cool pic - 3 generations of RX-7's I could never locate the owner of the FD - He was there to watch the FB driver that just got this track car and was looking for a little practice.

This is PJ's TII conversion - pretty neat job for a guy on a tight budget.

Engine shot of PJ's car.

This is the Man! This is JR checking out PJ's car. Too many initials!! He is the guy that fabbed all the parts for my FD swap. I hope to get by his shop soon and take some pics of a FD GT3 car he has been building from scratch. Very talented fabicator I am lucky to have found him.

Another FC that was there. It was not running he was there watching his friends run. Its a n/a BTW - with a TII hood and other stuff.

Last but not least - Mazdadrifters 10th -
