Here's a great article in the March Edition of Option2 Magazine on cutting your fenders and adding Flares. It's on a Silvia but it's the same steps our cars.

Can't wait to get started on mine.

Let me know what you think?

that is RETARDED! why do all that when you get a fender roller and pull the fender instead of those ugly flares....

Note the photo, rolling the fender would not give the clearance, only cutting and flares/widebody kit would do the trick. I hate the widebody offerings for the FB...except for Japco Race Glass http://www.piner.com/japco/r1.jpg

Here's the pic of the finished product, the fender cut was a must for the lowering of the rear with 225's.

Specs:

Front:Ground control U Weld Coilover kit Eibach 400/700/250 springs (400lb/7inch tall/2.5in dia)with camberplates and koni 86r's and 85' strut tube/spindle.

Rear: Eibach 200lb springs with 2 deadcoils cut, Tokico HP Blues.

I haven't taken it out on any track days yet so I haven't dialed in the camber yet.
