Well, this past event was a fun one. There was actually a BP class there was another TII and a Porsche 944 Turbo husband and wife team. The husband was 5th in the nationals in SS. I finally had a barometer to guage by.
First I must tell you that I was classed in ASP but after Mr. Porsche 944 complained that I was not in the correct class I was bumped to BP. I was nervous thinking I was about to get my *** handed to me.
The Porsche:
Totally gutted, owner claims he has the weight down to 2350. Beutifull car. Lexan windows front and rear. Running 110 octane and boosting 18 lbs. Again I repeat 5th in SS w/ a Z-06 last month in Topeka. He was 4 seconds behind Steve w/ a stock car.
My TII:
Full interior. Running 7 lbs of boost w/ a half blown engine.
I whipped his ***!!! He was not happy either. Every heat I got faster and finally beat him with a 33.34 2nd lap to his best 34.45. I felt so confident he would not catch me I took a driving instructor with me for my last run to see where I could improve.
And I did...
During some fun laps I turned a 32.99 to Mr. Porsche's 33.60 best.
Even with hot tires (there was only 6 cars during the fun laps) He couldn't better my best time during heats.
The other TII was only about a tenth behind the Porsche but I feel he will be faster next time we see each other. He had a full interior and was running too little camber.
Jimmy is very happy now!!

I am building a BP TII to race next year and hopefully go to Topeka in the Nationals with. This was actually my last AutoX w/ my tII.
I was only going to run for ***** and giggles but rich pompus ******** like MR. Porsche **** me off so I wanted to **** him over and beat hiss *** and make him go home wondering WTF just happened to him and his 30k car.
He was a little bitch that was more worried about everyone else than WTF he was doing. I am amazed he was 5th in SS at Topeka this year. He did not display any reasonable amount of ability to me. My full interior car that weighs 500 lbs. more and had over 150 less hp beat his ***!! He also had 17x12 rims with big fat slicks on them. He should have kicked my ***!!
I have a funny feeling the Nationals are full of Champagne Sippers that dont even know how to change a sparkplug. They have their mechanics do everything for them.
