For anyone going faster than 11.99, what have you done for a flywheel shield? Or is this being enforced regularily?

You need a scattershield. The ballistic blankets that 10 people will recommend later in this thread do not meet NHRA/IHRA required SFI ratings. What's more I've heard stories about rotary engines setting those blankets aflame.

From what I can tell the blankets are only for the tranny itself.





Are those bellhousings SFI approved or do they just go by the 1/4 thick steel guideline?





I wonder how safe these engine diapers they're implementing now are for flammability then.
