It has been off the road for a long time, lol.

I just got a brand new motor, not reman, bought new housings and rotors from mazda , etc.

Got the motor fully streetported. And I got a Garrett Gt35/40 turbo kit for it.

Im looking to run 14-16PSi low boost and 25-28 Psi high boost. The motor got dropped in last week and Im going to break it in for 500-1000 miles before i start to boost it. Im just happy I got the motor to start up on the first crank !!!

Im using stock injectors now since im only breaking teh engine in, and ove rthe winter or by spring time I will have a fully upgraded fuel system with 1800cc injectors or 1600cc unsure yet , most likely 850cc for primarys. As for cooling I have a fluidyne radiator, and looking to get the apexi 3 row intercooler they have for the Fd, but unsure as of yet. Im goign to have the set up where I can run the intercooler on the street and switch over to water injection for the track. I have a HKS dragger complete exhaust system, PF Midpipe, Modified throttle body and intake manifolds, etc. Im looking for around 450 wrhp, and I know my car very well since i owned it for about 6 years, I love my cym. So with my driving skills with it and 450 rwhp and some drags at the back, I have a feeling I can definitely do some high to mid 10 second passes.
Are you sure the gt35/40 is going to behappy at that high boost level?

Ehh, It probably will make alot of heat, but we have a few fd's with gt35/40 turbos in there car pushing about 25psi and they dont have no problems at all.

No street racer here, probably on the highway i would let it rip.

I'm w/ ya too....

My goal is 10.99 on DOT radials....

we're also building an all motor first gen to run at this local 1/8th mile biannual competition for the "fastest import"...$2K payout and the car won't cost barely that to build considering we have most everything we need and it's bracket racing(not my personal fav)...so we'll see. We'd like to have mid to high 8s in it...

I was looking at a T-88 today and are thinking on buying it. I'm hoping to get 600hp from it and I should have it in the 8's.
