Sue the bastard. If what you've said is true, you've got a good case. At the very least, small claims court will get you some money back for your windshield.

However, you may also be slapped with some "imprudent driving" tickets and all that jazz too. If you were on a public road, then yeah, the guy did something stupid, but you're also doing some illegal stuff too, right?

I love my conciel/carry permit... and I really love it when a rent-a-cop tries to run us off some place where he has no duty to watch... its great when they come over to the car and see a .45 on the seat... some get pissy and call cops some just turn around and walk away...when the cops come they just check my permit and leave me alone...you still should have stopped and gotten yourself a free flashlight...but I'd still report him..find out if the place you were playing around was public road or not...if it was sue his ***..or report him to company and get his $5.25 and hour *** fired...

I cannot even begin to believe the disregard you hold against the purpose of your CCP. An automatic is not a toy. I don't see what gratification you receive from displaying a handgun so openly in your car. A gun is a weapon of death that should be treated with the utmost respect, not shown off in public for arguable leverage. I'm just hoping to the high Heavens right now that a_ there is a manual safety on your .45 that is locked b_ you don't have ammunition readily loaded in the magazine and c_ you certainly don't have a round chambered...

you bet I carried it loaded..after someone tries to car jack you you'll think twice about it.. and I don't flaunt it...when I'm driving I put in the seat..why ever try to drive with a .45 up your ***?? I don't suggest it... kind of hurts...and I'm very well aware of rules of having them...and I obey them..but I sure do pity the next poor ****** sticking hes head in my window trying to take something from me. and a firearm is NEVER a toy so never assume I take it as one. All guns have a safety.. I prefer the .45 because it has 2 safe devices...oh yes I never walk around showing my weapon that would get my permit revolked..however having it in your front seat while driving or parked and sitting in your car is alright.. you make it sound like I walk around the street waving it around. I just said its great when they see it the reaction is funny... happy now 2ndgenY... and remember criminals prefer unarmed victums

I hope you realize that it is not legal to shoot someone in the face, even if they try to jack your car. Where do you live that one commonly gets jacked anywho?

Get a ******* stun gun or pepper spray smart ***..Thats why they make that stuff.. If you can't shoot someone legally, just zap em' or spray them.. very quick.. much much safer.. very effective.. and you won't be at fault for anything. If you go shooting someone for trying to jack your car, your sure to have a lawsuit just waiting at your door. Instead of running around with a loaded gun on your seat telling others to "back off".. yeah ok.. your a smart guy..
