well some of you may remember my build post of ower 87 rx7 na car wich i built into a E Production class road racer. well after a long season and alot of little kinks and bugs with transmissions and one extreamly blown up motor due to the trans problem we found owerselves at the SCCA National Championship RunOffs.

The car qualified 10th on the grid and was clipping off a second or so it seemed every session out. the new chassis is much better then the old car and is alot faster, one of if not the fastest MPH cars in the class in the long straights at Road America. What started out to be a great race and could have capped it off with a top 5 ended up with a broken rear camber adjuster on the right side and a loosed up jam nut on the left rear toe bar wich caused the car to do a snap spin coming out of turn 7. luckly the car is in one piece and is an easy fix but put us out of contention for a top 10 finish.

the good thing about it is we where the fastest second gen rx7 in the feild.

time to finish out the MWCA races and break down the car for some more tweeks over winter and see if we cant get a top 3 next year at the Run Offs.

Sounds like a great car. I just bought and 83' RX-7 ITA car from Missouri. Will be running Midwest Council this year and SCCA next. If you're in Watertown I'm pretty close, East Troy. You seem like a pretty good rotary resource. I'm new to rotaries but I'm pretty impressed so far. I will probably need parts/work/advice in the future. If you see this post, give me a call.
