where to put EGT probe

Just as it says..I'm wondering where to tap the manifold for EGT. Maniflold is HKS stainless tubular FD manifold..Or with this one should it be tapped into the downpipe?

some hks turbo exhaust housings have the hole tapped in them just past the flange.

Yup some "cast" manifolds have this done to them but mine is a tublar stainless steel manifold. So question still stands where to tap the egt probe.

every 2" per runner, every foot out the downpipe for 4 feet...

put one in each runer about a inch away from the ports.
