What Engine Management Is There For Fc's?
#1
Im looking for something like the Apexi PFC for my T2. What available systems are there that are plug and play, either tuneable with a laptop or its own controller? I have a laptop, so its not a problem to tune on here. I just wanna know what there is out there, that dont cost an arm and a leg, but is like a plug and play type system for my FC..

if you plan on modifying your engine a lot a good ecu is a great place to start. You just have to keep in mind that with each mod you make you might have to retune for the best performance / safty.
if your just freeing up the exhaust and intake this might not be a necisarry step, but with upgrade injectors/ increased boost, an adjustable ecu will make you a lot more power than a stock w/ plug ins.

the closest thing to a plug in an e6k/e6x
k2rd made a couple plug in adaptors for s4 turbos, but it requires the engine harness being good, and most of em arent
k2 also do one that plugs in under the dash, and you just have to run the injectors and tps/map/iat sensors.

OK, I found a place called Greenline Motorsports that sell the A.P. Engineering PFC ECU for the 89-91 Turbo 2, this is the link to the page where this product is listed. My friend bought his PFC from them, they deliver to the USA with no problem:

Technically the Microtech has a plug and play option. They have an adapter to go from the stock harness to the Microtech plug on the back. The only problem is that you have to tune it yourself and you can not upload maps to it.
