Vosko- PM Chris, he can answer all the questions. He was running 1.6 on 92 octane with only 10 knock. Have you seen the morroso blue fuel cooler, put dry ice or ice in it and it lowers the temp of your fuel. A friend has it on his 180 and the fuel lines are frosted after the fuel leave the cooler. It is cheap 80-90.



That loss to the mustang getting to you? It would bug me, I hate losing.

how does water injection fare on rotarys? i know it works pretty well for pistons.

It actually helps rotaries out more as it significantly reduces knock.

how often do rotaries get knock? and also how deadly is it for them?

Umm well rotaries get knock when tuning is not correct for one, and any serious ping will typically waste an engine.

how much tuning can you really do with rotaries? with it all being computer controlled and all. or do you mean tuning by the proper use of parts and installing them correctley?

I meant computer controlled tuning via an aftermaket ECU. Or you could alter the air/fuel ratio by putting mods on the car and not upgrading the ECU (equivalent to using a poorly tuned map on an aftermaket ECU) which would have the same effect....
